Dartmouth Comic Arts Festival "DCAF Talks"

The CCSNS has the pleasure and honor of organizing "DCAF Talks". A day of panel discussions, workshops and portfolio reviews that take place on the Saturday of DCAF. "DCAF Talks" is a free event that is open to the public and it highlights the perspectives and skills of comic artists from Nova Scotia and elsewhere. This event is a wonderful way for emerging artists to gain insight from mentors in the community, as well as to share their perspectives.

We are especially pleased to offer paid opportunities to the artists who participate as panelists and workshop facilitators.

Drawing in the Museum

The CCSNS enjoys the pleasure of organizing free outings to Nova Scotia Museums for artists to meet museum curatorial staff, view archives and sketch to their hearts content! We are happy to create connections between comic artists and the scientists, historians and specialists who help preserve our provinces unique history.
